Countesthorpe is a thriving village, mainly residential, but with a number of successful small businesses too. Our location is on the edge of the countryside and yet close to the town of Leicester - best of both worlds!!
Situated in Leicestershire, approximately 7 miles south of the city of Leicester. It is a mixture of old and new buildings and was quite infamous in the seventies when Countesthorpe College was set up as a revolutionary new way of performing education. The college was somewhat frowned upon at the time, but has become one of the best schools in the county.

The Bulls Head, under the stewardship of Glen and Liz has become a hub of entertainment and dining.
The restaurant goes from strength to strength offering a wde range of well priced meals.
The pub itself has something for everyone, from just going in for a pint and a chat to joining teams of darts, skittles or pool andlive entertainment.
For the armchair sports fan, there is always some live sports action on the television too...
Why not pop in and say hello.

Whilst this website will try and remain relatively impartial (although at our whim, we may change our mind ;-) to controversial issues in the village, what would you like to see on here? Email us your suggestions and we will see if we can include them.
